We are very please with how the "Georgia Roaster" squash has kept through the winter. I roasted the last three and made a cake with cream cheese frosting. This squash is an excellent cooking squash with more moisture and lighter yellow color.
We bought seeds from Rareseeds.com and then saved some for growing again this year. The seeds are strange looking as they remind me of an engorged wood tick...ick!
Another recipe we add this squash to is cornbread. I've been making this recipe from the Victory Cookbook for year.
This squash is definitely a keeper!
