Last year was a marathon and that is the only way to describe it!
After a two years study with Alaskan Flower Essence and as of January 17, 2025 I am a Certified Flower Essence Practitioner.
I chose to study and become certified through Alaskan Flower Essences because many of their flowers are similar to what grow wild in Minnesota. I am familiar with so many in Minnesota from self-study, collecting and making the essences.
Last summer we were truly amazed at how many different wild flowers we were able to find and make essences from. We were able to add about ten more to our inventory.
Remington, me and the dogs love driving around the country side, looking for and collecting the flowers. The spring and early summer showers and the right environment created so many flowers that we don't usually get to enjoy.
Check out our Essence Page for more information; consultations, product availability and purchase.
I also finished a two year Core Shamanic Training with Jeanne Troge in Park Rapids. I truly appreciate the basic knowledge I learned and continue on with self-study and now offer Shamanic Healing sessions.
Our gardens grew and produced above expectations! I'm admitting we went a bit overboard canning and this year 2025 we enjoyed the harvest at a slower pace. We have enough Salsa and sweet pickles to last at least a couple years.

One new venture, we made fresh fermented dill pickles in our 10 gallon crock. We were so surprised at the end result with crisp and healthy pickles. We have orders already for this year's pickle making.
We continue to raise meat rabbits and do offer for sale. They are a cross of Flemish/California/New Zealand/Chinchilla (back 6 generations) and as of two years ago, we introduced a composite breed. Still on the fence about this direction.
I know I'll remember more but for now I'll close. I'll be downloading pictures from last year and those will remind me what all went on last year.
Blessings,
Terri
