The Full Moon was on the 3rd and we strained our last Liquid Botanicals started on the New Moon six weeks earlier in November 2025! This past year we added many new extracts to our inventory and also a few more Flower and Gem Essences. I will be updating all lists of our inventory soon.

We now have to offer the extract/tincture (organic vodka) made from the combined ingredients for Essiac Tea.

We also made a batch of Fire Cider from the original Recipe of Rosemary Gladstar's. All organic ingredients of course and we used our own brewed apple cider vinegar (apples from our apple tree), horseradish, and cayenne peppers. We like to call our Fire Cider the "Super Tonic".

I like to add the Fire Cider to my salad dressing recipe. It gives it a nice kick!

Recipe: 1 C. homemade plain yogurt, 1 C. Mayo (made with Avocado Oil that I buy at Costco), 1 Tbls. Fire Cider, 1 tsp. mustard (spicy or Dijon), 1 Tbls. homemade un-processed saurkraut juice for more probiotics and spices to taste such as rosemary, thyme or oregano, etc..

Our Apple Cider Vinegar Brewing.....this is a long process and glad we started when the apples were just falling from the trees in early September.

As of January 2026 all of our extracts (organic Vodka) are available in 2 oz Amber glass dropper bottles.

Our Fire Cider is available in larger (recycled) glass jars. We have two recipes; one with and one without organic Turmeric Powder which adds more anti-inflammatory properties. Please inquire on price per ounce.

About Essiac Tea; A traditional formula used for generations to support overall wellness. It combines four powerful botanicals — Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel, Slippery Elm Bark, and Indian Rhubarb Root — this blend originally used by the Ojibwa people of Canada.

The tea gained popularity in the 1920s when Canadian nurse Rene Caisse began using it as part of her wellness practice. Since then, it has become a staple in natural health communities for its reputation as a gentle, plant-based immune and detox support remedy.

Each herb in the Essiac blend offers unique traditional benefits:

  • Burdock Root – liver support, detoxifying and a natural antioxidant

  • Sheep Sorrel – gentle detoxifying properties

  • Slippery Elm Bark – supports digestion and gut lining health

  • Indian Rhubarb Root – cleansing herb that supports regular elimination

We made the tincture/extract with Organic Vodka for ease of use and convenience. No messy brewing required, and a much longer shelf life.

About Fire Cider; Boosts immune system function with its rich blend of herbs and spices.

  • Aids digestion by stimulating digestive enzymes and gut health.

  • Acts as a natural anti-inflammatory, helping to reduce inflammation in the body.

  • Supports respiratory health by alleviating congestion and sinus issues.

  • Provides a source of antioxidants, which help combat oxidative stress.

  • May enhance circulation and promote overall cardiovascular health.

One thought I would like to add, is why we prefer to make the original recipe from the founder Rosemary Gladstar. There are many versions from other sources now being offered and just a word of caution; make sure that the ingredients are actually supporting the benefits intended from the original recipe. Many of these other versions do not include cayenne pepper but use jalapeno or another pepper. Yes, they have their own nutritional value but do not have the medicinal properties of the cayenne.

On a final note here is a photo of the Green Hull Black Walnut ready for processing in a tincture/extract for parasite cleanse. We offer it as a single extract or combined in a 3-Way or 4-Way parasite Cleanse. The 3-Way Cleanse includes Green Hull Black Walnut, Wormwood and Clove. The 4-Way Cleanse is Green Hull Black Walnut, Wormwood, Clove and Red Cayenne Pepper.

Stay tuned for the next blog post, when I will be sharing about our wild crafting/foraging for mushrooms, fungi and lichen.

New Year Blessings,

Terri
