Pine Ridge Steading

Land restoration soon began after moving here in 2012. We started with the five South West acres where we pastured the goats for about five years. We rotated grazing in small sections. It did not take them long to have it goatscaped!
As we planned and worked this land throughout the 14 years we have lived here; many ideas and experiments were realized or were re-thought, tweaked and/or scratched completely to accommodate our working schedules, desires, energy and of course available funds.
In these five acres, brush piles continue to be established after clearing to create wind breaks and habitat for wildlife. Removing dead trees and opening up the area for native grasses and indigenous flora are welcomed back naturally...this has been quite amazing what is available for Wild crafting which are made into medicinal tea blends, extracts and personal healing products.
Our gardens have multiplied and we enjoy trying new cultivars each year and continue to offer seasonal vegetables during the growing season.
The last couple years we have perfected our fermentation process for cabbage and cucumbers and offered sauerkraut and dill pickles.
If you are in the area this summer, look for our garden stand at the end of the driveway along 50th. We usually have selected items availble on the weekends.
Looking forward to a bountiful year 2026!
Blessings, Terri & Remington
